Do you want to reach thousands of Yachting enthusiasts for free? Yachtbuddy.com is only two months old and already gaining large readership from mariners of every variety and from many places in the world. We launched as the New Year started from our base in English Harbour, Antigua.

Yachtbuddy.com wants to give yachties relevant content. News from sailing events, boat shows, yacht launches and speedboat trials are requested. Yacht brokerage news is welcomed. We would like yacht and marine product reviews and articles too. If it would fit in a yacht magazine it would be suitable. Photos are encouraged. At the end of the article you can add your own link to your own website and gain many visitors and build your brand.  

So how do you add content? Visit www.yachtbuddy.com/WordPress/ on the top left side click register. Register with your e-mail address and receive a confirmation link. Once you have registered go back to the same place and log in. You will reach a page with a dark blue header. On the left side you will see ‘Write Post’. Click and an e-mail looking window comes up. You type into the box. Add pictures wherever you like by placing the cursor in a position and then clicking the little blue face. Just follow the instructions. When you are done choose a category from the right hand column. Click save. It’s as easy as writing an e-mail.

The other option is to e-mail me the content. However due to time constraints I will select the only the best. It’s all free. ant@yachtbuddy.com

Content is not restricted to News, Reviews and Articles from suppliers. On the contary, yachtbuddy.com is designed to be a place where yachting enthusiasts can be part of an on-line community. Yachtbuddy Playground is the area where everyone can add their own stories and photos of travels and happenings. There is a link at the bottom of each journal to send the link to your friends. This way you can keep in touch across continents! You can also ask questions, share information on your yachting projects and comment on others stories.

Don’t worry if your article doesn’t appear straight away. We approve all content to protect you from porn, spam and irrelevant nonsense.

Oh, one last thing. Our income will come from Auctions and Classifieds. At the moment it’s still free as we sort out the nuts and bolts of taking payments. Take advantage of this and place adverts in the many categories including chartering, sales, equipment and more. You can advertise for or look for a Job or voyage too! Auctions are a powerful tool to empty the sail locker, sell that empty charter week or move a yacht that someone else has time to refit.
